Welcome to intelligentgrease.com

We are pleased to announce the launch of LORD TC-501, a thermally conductive grease designed for TIM2 applications where superior heat dissipation is required. Created in response to customer need for a grease that doesn't pump out, TC-501 is designed for harsh environments with high levels of thermal stress. It can be used for pads and ordinary applications that require grease.

While commercially available greases eventually pump out as a result of repeated, sudden changes in temperature, LORD TC-501 will not due to the irreversible structure formation in the grease. This silicone interface material also eliminates bleed out, making the possibilities for use vast ... Ask Us How

Features & Benefits

High Thermal Conductivity - provides thermal conductivity for applications where superior heat dissipation is required. Up to 8 w/mk.

Reworkability - easily removed with isopropyl alcohol or acetone, eliminating the use of toxic solvents.

Thin Bondlines - achieves thin bondlines of 25-50 microns (1-2 mils), minimizing the thermal pathway and maximizing heat flow.

High Reliability - provides excellent resistance to moisture and temperature cycling; low bleed; shows no dry-out even on bare copper surfaces.

Easy to Use - easily dispersed; provides a working life of 24 hours at 25ºC.

Applying - Before use with dispensing equipment, allow grease to be warmed to room temperature (ideally 20-25ºC). Allow grease to warm by placing syringe in a vertical (upright) position with dispense tip facing downward in an ambient environment. Consult handling instructions for specific guidelines.

Mount syringe onto the dispensing equipment that has been thoroughly cleaned and purge grease through the system until an unbroken fl ow of grease is extruded. The system is now ready to begin dispensing.

Cleanup – Disposable containers and utensils are recommended when working with greases. However, when disposable materials are impractical, grease can be removed by cleaning equipment with solvents such as isopropyl alcohol or acetone. Solvent-cleaned utensils should be thoroughly dried before reuse; any remaining solvent can contaminate the next application.
